AHSTC Starter Swim

Get your kids swimming! This is a new program to get kids swimming and practicing with the swim team before you become members of the Arbor Heights Swim Club. This program will allow your kids to be coached by our excellent coaching staff and to practice and make friends with new and returning swimmers of the Otter swim team. There will be spots available for kids age 5-12 in four categories: Speedy Sixers, 8 & under, 10 & under, 12 & under. To qualify; Swimmers, 5 to 8 years-old need to be able to kick on a kick-board across the deep end of the pool unassisted. Swimmers, 9-12 years-old, must be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) unassisted.

All spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. The cost is $190 per child for this spring and summer program, May through July. Your child will not be competing in any league swim meets. Unfortunately, this is a league rule that is possibly changing in the near future. This opportunity is an amazing chance for your child to learn all 4 strokes and become a confident, strong swimmer while having fun and meeting new kids. This program does not offer further opportunities for the participant or family to stay independently after practice, during open recreation swimming, or use the facilities outside team sponsored events. REFUND POLICY: The provision of refunds to families who sign up for swim, tennis, dive and water polo activities and lessons is costly for AHSTC due to credit card fees and the need to pay a third-party firm to process refunds. The purpose of this document is to outline a policy pertaining to these activities.
